Board Leadership Services Specialist: Description:
Assisting the Vice President in the implementation of projects and provision of services to Boards including: - Assist in conducting CEO searches and other direct services to Boards of Trustees - Prepare proposals and grants - Assist with designing and implementation of annual meetings and training institutes - Assist with the preparation of marketing materials and website design - Coordinate logistics and arrangements for annual meetings, workshops and institutes - Maintain databases on applications, background reports, individual records, annual reports and records, etc. - Maintaining applications, general and financial records on projects - Significant travel required - Other duties as assigned The position includes the handling of sensitive and confidential information.

QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree preferred. Four years experience in project management, meeting planning or administration. Association or higher education experience a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, data management (Access and Excel), PowerPoint and working with GroupWise network. Board Program Assistant: Description
Will report directly to the Executive Coordinator to the President/CEO and will be responsible for providing administrative, programmatic, research and logistical support to the Office of the President. The position includes the handling of sensitive and confidential information.
Will assist the Executive Coordinator in support of the Association’s Board and committees including:
- Assist with the coordination of Regional Meetings and Caucuses at the Annual Congress and the annual preparation of the Voting Delegate Book;
- Assist with the coordination of the Senate election process at the Association’s Annual Congress;
- Assist with the Board election process, regional nominating committees and Board communications;
- Assist with Board and Committee meeting logistics;
- Assist with coordinating the Association and Regional Awards process;
- Assist with the Regional Chairs and the Coordinators Network; and
- Assist other departments with specific tasks, as directed.
In addition, this position will also assist the President and CEO in the day-to-day support of administrative operations including:
- Make travel and logistical arrangements;
- Coordinate meeting and appointments;
- Initiate and prepare letters, papers and other communications for the Office of the President;
- Prepare and submit travel expense reports; and
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Degree in business administration required or a related field with minimum of 7 years experience. Prefer at least 3-5 years experience working with an association’s Board of Directors. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Some travel required.
