The Board of Directors are the Voting Members of ACCT. The Board of Directors shall establish policies that supervise, control and direct the affairs of the Association within the limits of and consistent with these Bylaws and Resolutions promulgated by the Senate.
The composition of the Board of Directors shall be as follows:
- Fifteen members elected by the regions on the basis of three from each region.
- Nine members elected at large by the Senate.
- Two members may be appointed by the chair; subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
- The immediate past chair, if not a regular member of the Board of Directors, shall be a member of the Board of Directors with voting rights.
Each member of the Board of Directors at the time of election or appointment must be a member of a Voting Member.
