Awards

In recognition of the tremendous contribution made by trustees, equity programs, chief executives, faculty and professional board staff members to community colleges, the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) annually recognizes exemplary members in each of ACCT's five regions.

Up to 25 ACCT Regional Awards are announced each year immediately prior to the Annual ACCT Leadership Congress. Regional Awardees are presented with their awards during the ACCT Leadership Congress, and then one awardee from each of the five categories is recognized with ACCT's Annual Association Awards during the Annual ACCT Awards Gala. Additionally, ACCT honors individuals who strive to promote community colleges in the public sector with a National Education Service Award and a Government Relations Award. These awards are given out during the Community College National Legislative Summit.
