Community College National Legislative Summit

The 2009 Community College National Legislative Summit (NLS) came at a critical time as the country welcomes a new President. As Congress and
the Administration work to meet the needs of our colleges, your
advocacy and support were vital elements to advancing and fulfilling the
goals of the community college movement. We thank all participants who joined us at
the 2009 NLS, February 9-11, for continuing to support your students and institutions. The NLS remains the annual center of community college advocacy in Washington, D.C.

In response to popular requests from our members, ACCT hosted a two-day leadership
institute for trustees and presidents focusing on fostering diversity,
inclusiveness, understanding, acceptance, and respect in a multi-cultural
