The Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) is pleased to announce the launch of the second cohort of the India-U.S. Workforce Partnership Lab, an initiative of ACCT’s Global Workforce Coalition, designed to establish and strengthen workforce- and skills-focused partnerships between U.S. community colleges and higher education institutions in India.
Building on the success of the inaugural cohort, the second cohort will bring together three U.S. community colleges and three Indian institutions for a year-long collaboration designed to foster innovative approaches to workforce development, global skills and competencies, and institutional partnerships in the training sector. Supported by the Cognizant Foundation, the paired institutions will work together to develop collaborative programs that prepare students for careers in an increasingly interconnected global economy, with a particular emphasis on the practical and responsible application of artificial intelligence across workforce disciplines.

The second cohort of the India-U.S. Workforce Partnership Lab brings together six institutions committed to advancing workforce innovation through international collaboration. The participating institutions are:
Representing a wide range of academic and training focus areas and regional perspectives, these institutions will collaborate over the coming year to develop workforce-focused initiatives and establish new international partnerships that prepare community college learners for success in a global economy.
