Michelle Callahan works at the intersection of public health and education, leading health promotion and prevention initiatives across K–12 and higher education settings. Before joining the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT), she served as Director of Health Promotion and Wellness at Lewis & Clark College, and as Assistant Director of Outreach and Engagement in Health Promotion at Towson University.
In these roles, Michelle led strategic programs focused on student wellbeing, violence prevention, and health equity, and worked collaboratively with campus and community partners to implement sustainable, student-centered initiatives.
Her work is grounded in a commitment to equity, prevention, and translating research into practice. She holds a Master of Public Health from Oregon Health & Science University - Portland State University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and Certified in Public Health (CPH).
